REPLICATION MATERIAL FOR " The effect of more choice on voter turnout: Causal evidence from Germany"

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLICATION: 

Set a working directory with two files: One named "datasets" . The other named "output" .

In "datasets" store "allkreis.dta" and the "turnout_individual_lvl.dta" files. 

In the dofiles "replication_study1" and "replication_study2", set your working directory at the beginning of the file. 


The replication files should run. Output should be stored in the output folder. The dofiles will also create new datasets. These will be stored in the datasets folder.
