dc.description.abstractThe present paper discusses the work of the United Nations International Law Commission (ILC) during its sixty-seventh session (2015) regarding the topic ‘Protection of the environment in relation to armed conflicts’. First, it sketches out a summary of the debate that took place in the plenary session of the ILC with respect to the issue at hand. Then, the paper moves on to analyze the draft articles provisionally adopted by the Drafting Committee, offering at the same time some critical remarks.en
