Abstract
This amicus curiae intervention was filed in the appeal to the Prosecutor v. Ntaganda case before the International Criminal Chamber. The Court invited comments by selected experts on the temporal and substantive scope of the crime of attacks against cultural property during non-international armed conflicts. This brief argues that the crime can be committed in the aftermath of the conduct of hostilities and via acts such as pillaging and vandalizing.
