Abstract
This book contribution contains a detailed comment on Article 343 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. It describes the provisions on privileges and immunities of the European Union and of its staff members within the territory of Member States, particularly with reference to the diplomatic rules of the countries hosting EU bodies and to the tax law applicable to staff members of EU institutions and agencies and institutes.
