Abstract
This article presents a contentious politics spatial analysis of how it evolved the geographical symbolic dispute for the control of the city space during the anti-FTAA People’s Summit in Mar del Plata (Argentina, 2005) between SMOs, unions and the state. The piece is based on the direct observation of the internal and public dynamics of the anti-FTAA coalition
