Abstract
The Autumn 2004 report of the European Forecasting Network (EFN) presents a detailed analysis of the macroeconomic outlook and forecasts for the euro area and the new member states. It continues with eight studies on the working of the Lisbon Strategy and related issues. We first summarize the contents of each of the chapters, and the full report then follows.
