Abstract
Environmental law scholarship is influenced by, and influences, environmental realities. As these are becoming ever more urgent and severe, setting environmental law’s research agenda becomes similarly pressing. Each Part of this Volume considers new agendas for the study and practice of environmental law. These agendas are grounded in developments related to environmental thinking (Part I), new or dominant environmental realities (Part II), or societal transformations (Part III). These individual Parts are connected by a shared reflection on what changes environmental law may need to make in light of the internal and external changes or challenges posed by these developments.
