dc.description.abstractThe paper, based on qualitative research conducted in three Italian small and medium-sized towns, offers an analysis of the implications and repercussions of the regulatory changes in the Italian asylum system. It does so by taking into consideration the territorial dimension of asylum seekers' reception and the constraints/opportunities framework within which professionals employed in the reception of forced migrants play their role and develop a support relationship with beneficiaries.en
