Abstract
As cities face the detrimental impacts of climate change, there is an urgent need to implement robust climate mitigation and adaptation projects. To do this, cities must direct their financial flows towards climate projects. However, accessing climate finance is a major challenge due to limited capacity and resources. This report proposes an online platform to help cities easily find and access climate finance oppoprtunites. In theory, the platform would act as a central repository of information and resources, simplifying the process for cities to connect with financial instruments and improve their project development capabilities, thus creating an enabling environment for cities to access climate finance.
