Employing a comparative legal analysis, the study explores how EU authorities strive to balance the dynamics between press publishers and digital intermediaries, a critical aspect of contemporary copyright and competition law. This research specifically examines the implementation strategies in Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, and Czechia, offering a cross-sectional view of the diverse approaches within the EU. Through an analysis of legislative nuances and their practical applications, this paper highlights the complexities and challenges in achieving a harmonized legal environment.
