This policy brief, which condenses the findings of an exhaustive report commissioned by the Open Society European Policy Institute (OSEPI) and drafted by a team of researchers coordinated by the Migration Policy Centre at the European University Institute (EUI), focuses on working conditions in the agri-food system in Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. This policy brief provides recommendations for stakeholders at the European and national levels with a view to implementing coordinated initiatives aimed at strengthening and protecting workers’ rights, while at the same time promoting a more sustainable agri-food system in a way that benefits producers, workers and consumers.
