Abstract
This panel will focus on the need to strengthen EU competitiveness throughout the digital space, starting from the independent report delivered by the European University Institute's (EUI) Centre for a Digital Society (CDS). The discussion will delve into why the EU has been less successful than the USA or China, giving the audience an overview of the current landscape and proposing effective strategies required to address known deficits.
