The aim of the study was to collect data through questionnaires, focus groups and in-depth interviews in order to better understand the attitudes of Serbian media workers towards the content of the current Media Strategy and the process of its implementation. The results show that media workers in Serbia are mostly not well informed about the content of Media Strategy, the implementation process and its possible implications, regardless of the fact that this document, at least theoretically, can affect their profession, work status and social position. The research also shows that Serbian media workers, for the most part, have very low trust in institutions and the possibility that the media system in the country can be significantly changed through strategic documents and amendments to laws and by-laws.
