Abstract
The global COVID-19 crisis has entered a decisive phase: health emergencies continue around the world with virus mutants fueling new infection waves. Inoculation campaigns race – at different speeds – to immunise populations and to allow the roll back of economic and social restrictions. Meanwhile, decision makers in politics and business set out to plan reforms for healthier, more resilient, and more sustainable post-COVID economies and societies. The EUI School of Transnational Governance invited some of the most involved global leaders and experts from Europe, Asia, Africa and North America to discuss the state of play of the crisis mitigation and shed light on an emerging reform agenda: COVID-19 can become a catalyst for a healthier model of growth and globalization. The 'European COVID Summit' focused three core themes: 1. Infodemic and Tackling Online Disinformation; 2. The Global Vaccine Rollout ; 3. A Healthier Work Environment
