This thesis deals with economic growth theory. By growth theory I refer to that field of economic theory which studies through mathematical models, the mechanisms behind the growth of the main macroeconomic variables like capital, consumption and output. These economic mechanisms depend crucially on the set of hypothesis which the model is built on. Relax some of these assumptions, or change some of them, in order to increase the explicatory power of the model is one of the main objective of the theoretic macroeconomist.en
