In 2020, citizens and governments were confronted with global environmental, health, migration, political crises (like US trade wars, civil wars in Africa) and rule-of- law crises – like the US destruction of the WTO Appellate Body (AB) – that risk provoking additional economic, financial and social crises threatening the welfare of billions of citizens.
